ACK!

Ok. I need you guys to keep me in line this week.

Here's what happened. Last week was a MESS. A beautiful, glorious, wonderful mess. Serendipity Scraps experienced this ridiculously huge growth spurt. I mean really, really big. Exciting? Holy Mother of Buddha, was it ever!

Then reality set in. I have to fill how many orders? What else is arriving on the doorstep? What do you mean "we oversold that line?" She wants how many stamps? Where the hell are we supposed to get THAT?

Insert freak-out. It was fun. It was a mess, but wow - totally, totally fun, and so satsifying to know that this is something you've built from the ground-up with your own four hands (Heather, too, remember?). I understand, though, why scrapbooking companies hire third party companies to ship their products, cause I swear that 99% of my life is filling orders these days.

What's the problem, Sara? you might ask. I'm so glad you did, because the problem is this:

There is no room left in my house. Seriously. Poor Christina came and sat on my couch yesterday and looked as I waved my hand toward the dining room. "That's Serendipity Scraps in there," I said. I know she was mortified. She hid it well, but I'm convinced she was just mortified. Dana saw it last week, and she felt so bad for me she offered to keep Zion while I did my inventory.

So yesterday, finally, I got shelves. My Aunt Sherry, who has seriously been my savior the last couple of months, brought us a new cabinet for our china, a new file cabinet and about 20 sets of glass shelves. Do you know what this means? It's time to re-claim the dining room.

I have until April 2nd to get my life in order. This includes chopping away at the mountain of laundry in the hallway, getting enough laundry out of the bedroom so the floor is visible, all the spring cleaning my fingers have been itching to do, and planting the flowers in front of the porch.

What happens on April 2nd, Sara? So glad you asked! April 2nd is when the new Shimelle class starts, and I have signed-up. I love this girl - she totally inspires me. I am really, really excited about this class, and I won't have time to do any of her challenges if my brain is focused on wading through the piles that my house has become.

What can we do to help, Sara? Thank you so much for asking! Every time you see me wasting time on the computer, the phone, or in a scrapbooking store, I need you to nag me. I need you to tap me on the virtual-shoulder and say, "Aren't you supposed to be de-pile-ing your house, Sara?" Then I will feel guilty and stop what I'm doing (theoretically) and be productive! Are you guys on board with me here? Alright.

In the immortal words of Spongebob, "I'M READY!"
