I love peach pie. It was the last thing I ate before I became a mother. My father-in-law and I sat at his kitchen table at 11:45 (I couldn't eat anything after midnight) and we ate peach pie and butter brickle ice cream. It was wonderful.
I'm eating peach pie from Perkins right now. It's good. It's really good. You should have some. You won't regret it. Unless, of course, you don't like peach pie, in which case, this wouldn't be appetizing to you at all.
The last post was in reference to the photography class I'm taking. I've decided that I don't have the patience to participate in the forum for that class. The content of the class is fabulous - I just don't have time to wade through the rest of the crap. I'm learning, though, and that's the point of the class, right?
In other news, my husband is employed. Thanks to everyone who offered prayers, advice, networking, string-pulling, good vibe-age, finger crossing, and other methods of assistance. It worked! He's still interviewing for a couple of other positions, but this is a paycheck, and I'm calling it good.
Also, Serendipity Scraps has made the transition to "The Paper Pixie." This is all thanks to the fabulously patient Justin Wright. And Martha. Martha was definitely indispensable in this process.
I have little to report. We went to the zoo, so I'll throw some pics up this evening, but mostly, my blog was looking lonely.
I'm exhausted - emotionally, physically, and any other way you can think of being exhausted. The last couple of weeks have been really draining, to say the least, and I hope to be back in blogging form soon.
Happy Labor Day!
