7th Heaven - Not for Grandma's

A conversation with my grandmother a few moments ago...

Gma: I went to 7th Heaven today!
Sara: Why?!?
Gma: Because it's your Aunt Sherry's birthday and she needed something from 7th Heaven.
Sara: Why in the heck did she send you?!?
Gma: Because she wanted something! And you know what they had? They had these little bags in a glass case, and I asked the man, "What are they for?" and he chuckled and said, "They're just bags," and then I realized what they were and I said, "Oh, when I was shopping in stores like these those were cigarette cases. I guess they're for something else, now, aren't they?" and the man laughed again. Then I saw all these glass pipes and things up on this wall and they were beautiful!
Sara: (giggling uncontrollably)
Gma: I had fun though! They had these spikey dog collars and I almost got one for Gracie!
Sara: GRANDMA! THOSE DOG COLLARS ARE FOR PEOPLE!
Gma: PEOPLE? No! They would have to have HUGE necks!
Sara: (belly laughing now)
Gma: Are they really for people?
Sara: Yes, grandma, they're really for people.
Gma: Wow. Well, when I went in I thought, "This place has Mike & Sara written all over it." I know I looked confused because the lady came over immediately and asked if she could help me. She was very nice! I had fun. I may even go again!

My heart just sank when I read that Mike lost his job! I too can sympathize as my husband had come home about 5 years ago with the same statement. It rocked our world, but God had a plan... and it was good (just wish He worked on my schedule - I'm not very patient!). He now has a job that he enjoys.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

I must be a lot like your grandma! I don't know what 7th Heaven is, and I couldn't figure out what she was seeing :(
I must be very sheltered :)
