So this morning, I'm checking Shimelle's blog for a new class to be posted (no such luck) and I see the link to Cathy Z's blog, and I think ok, I have like, an eighth of a second while I'm uploading these pics, and she's a quick read that I don't have to focus too hard on, so I'll run over and see what she's been up to.
Wrong again. Seems Miss Cathy's decided to answer some questions. And when I say "some questions," I really mean about 186. I'm skimming through when I see this:
"All the cool girls have a stockpile of gay boyfriends."
Really? So I sat down and counted. I have no less than seven former boyfriends that either are currently or have been at one time self-proclaimed homosexuals. Two of them actually hooked up with each other. I am not making this up. I'm not offended either - I just always assumed that I did them in. Like, ok, she was just too much for me, and I can't handle women anymore. Am I proud of it? No, but come on.. there's something to be said for that.
But, according to Cathy Z's loyal readers, this makes me cool, and that makes me happy (where did the Sara-who-didn't-need-herself-validated-by-anyone go?).

Last night, Shelby graduated from junior high school. So here's the perspective part..
When Shelby was born, I was in junior high school. I graduated the year she started kindergarten. In 3 months, she will be a freshman. This makes me feel old.
The programs said, "Congratulations to the senior class of 2011."
TWO-THOUSAND-ELEVEN?!? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?
Jeez la-WEEZ.
She also had her first formal dance, and can I just tell you, I got all teary about the whole thing. She was so, so beautiful, and GRACEFUL and I would really like to say that the girl's going to "be something really special" when she grows up, but the truth of the matter is that she already is something really special.
I am so stinkin' proud of this girl.

I have no gay boyfriends, so I must not be cool, but I'm ok with that. Faron was my first and only boyfriend :)
Guess I'm not cool. Non of my ex's have turned out to be gay. At least none that I know of. Now I've had suspicions about a couple, does that count? :)
Shelby looks so pretty! You girls are both so lucky to have each other. You both seem to think the world of each other! Tell her congratulations for me!
