Swope Park

I. Love. Swope. Park. My aunt used to take me there when I was Zion's age, and I was so happy when we moved into our house right down the street from it. It is, in my own personal opinion, the most beautiful place in Kansas City.

Talked Mike into going on a hike with us on one of the many nature trails.. we had fun. I can feel the happiness coming out of these pictures.. Zion's happiness, Mike's happiness, my happiness capturing these moments. I'm so glad he's a good dad, and grateful that he loves us like he does. I'm so glad that Zion loves him as much as Mike loves him back. I'm so glad that we get to have moments like this, because I know there are families out there that just don't get to spend time like this together. Good, good day. ;)
