Things I Learned This Week

~ When you put the the words "Serendipity Scraps" and "crop" in the same sentence together, God interprets that as "blizzard."

~ My son's new favorite word starts with an "f" and rhymes with "truck." (Grandma loves that.)

~ I am unable to be good at two different things. I used to be able to cook, but now that I scrapbook I've apparently forgotten how. My husband is less than thrilled.

~ I am so, so grateful for friends. Especially the ones who don't say "I told you so," when you deserve it the most.

~ My son likes to count to ten. Over and over and over and over and over.

~ I have a coffee mug/tea cup fetish. I don't know what it is. I can't stop buying them. It started out as, "I need one to leave at work," and it just snowballed. I love those dainty little Limoges tea cups, and I absolutely can't live without my big heavy coffee mugs. Is there a twelve-step program for this?

~ New furniture rocks. Hard. It was an exciting week in the Mabin house.

Just teach Zion the alphabet song, then he won't be counting all the time----ooooh, or better yet, the BARNEY song. I love you, you love me.....over and over and over.... :)
