Having So Much Fun..

...putting glitter all over this silly little book! When did I turn into a girl?!? I swear, I'm putting glitter in places no glitter should ever be. Love it, love it, love it.

Oh, scrapbooking, I've missed thee. I'm in such a happy mood right now - I even changed my music player (sorry Erika) to one of my all time fave 311 songs. I fell in love with Mike when I heard him do a cover of this song.. so much fun.

So, since I'm in such an awesome mood, I think it's time for a "things I love" list. Are you with me here?

1. I love that Mike is making music again. He is so, so happy these days. Yes, he has his moments, but I think I found the man I married again.

2. I love being a mom. This week, especially, I've had my doubts about how wonderful of a job I'm doing, but I think it's about love. Yeah, you gotta throw the broccoli and discipline in there somewhere, but I truly believe if you love your kids with everything you have in you, it's going to turn out fine.

3. I love paper. I know I didn't really have to say that, but lately, it's been all about business. Gotta make a class layout, gotta order something for a crop, gotta fill an order from our eBay store.. blah blah blah. I shopped for paper yesterday (I know - did I really need more? No. Got it anyway)and I played with it yesterday and today, and I feel like Eric Clapton - Hello Old Friend!

4. I love Crabtree & Evelyn's "Summer Hill" Hand Therapy. Most of you know that I'm a hand lotion freak. This stuff is like $14 for a 3 1/4 oz. tube, but it ROCKS, and it smells absolutely divine.

5. Still on my big coffee mug kick. I just keep buying them. I love big coffee mugs. I'm an addict.

6. I love ink. Is there anything better than opening a new ink pad and applying a stamp to it? It even smells good.

7. This one is weird, but I love being the first person to open a new tub of margarine. There's something about popping that margarine cherry.. I don't know what it is. I just love putting the knife into it and scraping that top layer off.

8. I love garnets. The garnet is a symbol of fidelity, and it's what we chose for our wedding rings. A lady at a restaurant gushed over my wedding rings the other day. It's funny, because both rings cost a grand total of $52, but I wouldn't trade them for diamonds. ;) If you ever need any kind of silver jewelry - to purchase, to fix, anything - this is the place to go. Russ is amazing. I can't say enough good things about him.

9. Almost done! I love catalogs. I'm one of those catalog-junkies. I get The Baker's Catalog, Cash's of Ireland, Pyramid, Llwellyn's, Shannon, Park Seed, Jung Seed, Victorian Trading Company.. I love to turn the pages and dream of all the beautiful things I'll never have.

10. I love 311, Sublime & Nirvana. Sometimes I forget how completely awesome they were (and are, in the case of 311) because it's been so long. I have so many memories wrapped up in that music - sometimes you just have to sit back and remember.
