No Altered Book Club today. There just weren't enough hours in the day. I was at Captured Memories dropping off class samples and pulling product until 11:00, then home to hang with my Z-man and Mike until noon. Three hours of sleep, and I'm back at it.
I'll be venting for a moment, so feel free to skip this paragraph if you need to. I finished my rolodex cards to my perpetual calendar workshop. They don't fit in the rolodex. I bought a new rolodex thinking I could switch out the cards. The new rolodex has bigger cards. I have to start completely over with these cards. Instead of just copying my original design, I have to work from scratch, because no one in this COUNTRY except NOTIONS is selling the paper I used originally. Yay. That's what I get to do tonight - revamp my rolodex. Sometimes it's just not worth it.
Listening to World Cafe on my way to work today, and this guy was on there. Jay Bakker fascinates me anyway, and I won't get into that here, but his playlist on World Cafe was unbelievable. He had Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson.. it was crazy, and I loved every second of it. Anyway, he ended with this:
I haven't heard this song before today, and I loved it. I'm not a huge fan of the Dixie Chicks, and honestly, as country music goes, I like the older stuff - I love Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, David Allen Coe.. I could go on, but really, if they turned up after about 1989, I'm just not a fan.
This song is awesome though. Really, really awesome. Alright. I'm done now.. just wanted to share. ;)

Wow Sara that is awesome! I think it is a lot easier to forgive. But the forgetting part is sometimes almost impossible. There's been a few times in my life I've had to struggle with that. The fact that I still remember them only proves that I haven't forgotten.
Sorry to hear about your altered rolodex. I bet you were just about sick. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
